Dugualla Bay had an outdated HTML site they needed to replace. A member of their board had worked with me on a previous project, and reached out with an aggressive goal: They had an annual board meeting in just over a month and wanted to get a new site up and running prior to that meeting. We were able to build and launch a redesigned WordPress site using available photography and content more than a week before the meeting, for less than the estimated budget.
Dahl Behavior
Wendy Dahl is a brilliant dog behaviorist, who needed a simple easy-to-maintain site she wouldn’t have to think about often. In addition to training animals, she is also does animal massage, with specialties in end of life and sport injury recovery. Since many pet owners have never heard of these services, we had to discuss how to package her services in an understandable straightforward way. Site design focussed on showcasing the empathy she builds with animals, and setting expectations from potential clients. We used images of her with animals and testimonials to set the tone, along with warm relaxed colors, and built a site that doesn’t require a blog or other regular intervention, so she can focus on what she loves.
Renedian Motorcycle Adventures
Renedian was trying to launch before a trade event, and needed some help finishing up several features. I jumped into the project to fill in for the existing team as needed, identifying areas that could be quickly fleshed out, and others that might be left for a second-stage of development.
Emerald Water Anglers
Seattle’s Premier Fly Fishing shop wanted a site that really showcased the professional caliber photography they’ve collected of client’s catches and fishing trips. Working closely with existing layout to preserve SEO ranking, I redesigned their site to create an eye-catching site with plenty of room for SEO-friendly reports on rivers, trips, conditions and much more.
